I’m Alin. I’m 35 and I have an 8 year old son.
Photography is a way of life! My way of life!
It’s not about clicking a button on the camera.
“You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.” This quote from Ansel Adams describes very well my vision on photography.
Photography has been part of my life since the age of 15. I started as a hobby. At that time,I wanted to become an actor and took acting classes. Later on, I studied English literature and became a teacher of English. At the age of 24, I was hired as a photographer at an advertising agency.
In 2011 I opened Avatar Studio, and two years later I opened a photography school. I also produce a TV Show on photography. My students became part of my family. Great people , from 13 to 73 years old, they charge me with so much positive energy. It’s amazing how photography can bring out the best in people. I’m very proud of them.
Weddings are a big part my life. As an international wedding photographer, you get to do all the things you love: travelling, meeting new people, making new friends and telling their stories. How great is that!
Every wedding is completely different, each couple adds something new to their story. I love being there to capture their day: the unique story ,with all the beauty and drama, all the characters and the details. People are relaxed with me around, I don’t have to tell them what to do. The stories are already there : I just watch them unveil and try to capture every bit of it.

My grooms are my friends. We share positive energies, we laugh ,we play, I help in any way I can. It’s an unique experience. With every new wedding I shoot, with any new bride and groom I meet, I learn new things, I become a better person.
People ask me how should a bride and groom choose their photographer. After all, there are so many good photographers out there. I think they should take the time and find the one that appeals to them. A photographer’s character and vision is visible in his photos. Sometimes you just feel that a certain photographer is the one for you.
